The Late Mr John Keeble was a Suffolk farmer who had a passion for collecting Imperial German Militaria during the 1960s to the 1980s. Many of the items having been purchased from the famous collector Colonel W. C Dodkins of Worth, Sussex. The collection incudes rare helmets including a Guard Du Corps troopers helmet (Lot 820), an Imperial First Footguards Mitre (Lot 821), rare militaria including a gold and ruby set presentation stickpin from the Kaiser (Lot 832) and a vitrous enamel German Post Office sign (Lot 837).
